I've never commented in this thread before as I think a keeper is very susceptible in terms of confidence and a good goalie will remain in a bubble of confidence and concentration. Wayne has never made huge howlers, just as many glitches as others. He doesn't deserve this constant sniping. He may be at a low ebb at the moment because of the Wales result and his part in the Irish goal, and he is injured. So the number two comes in and does the usual Jules job. That's what he's supposed to do and when he's ready Wayne will come back as big as ever. If there are better out there, that ain't Wayne's fault.

Mata and Lukaku unmarked a few yards out and that's Hennessey's fault? Yes, he let one in last night - I think you'll find that all keepers let in an occasional goal, even with a good defence in front of him.
My main issue with WH is with all the attributes he has he should be much, much better than he is. On paper he is light years ahead of Jules, but I trust JS even at 38 more than I do WH. So ask yourself why a sizeable chunk of fans don't rate WH. And I'd suggest it's because there is no sign of comittment, willingness to put himself in harms way. Palace fans take players who are committed
