I still get goose bumps when I see this picture! He'll get another game changer and it will mean the world to him!

He has not contributed to a goal in his last 11 games. totally unacceptable for an attacking mid-fielder. He has declined in performance every year since joining from Saints

Except he's not been played as an attacking midfielder up until the last 3 games...

It's not going to end. Terrific Leader, but everything else about his game is Championship League level.

When he takes the free kicks! Cabaye is shocking! Come on Punch, show him how it's done.

I'm more concerned by the Benteke drought. We paid £27m for that pile of sh!te.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

This in a nutshell is the problem with Tekkers. What the team needs is a proper attacking centre midfielder who can get close to Tekkers and help him move forward. Presently the team is offering very little attacking wise through the centre. In fact I would suggest that we have been pretty impotent in that part of the pitch.

So I beg of you PLEASE get off Tekkers back. When he is the ONLY player in the middle taking on at minimum 2 defenders if not 3. That would be tough for anyone I don't care how much we're paying him.

Soon I would say , after a poor spell under Pardew he has again started making the runs into the box that saw a better goal average a couple of years back . Just waiting for the right pass ,or the right break and Punch will be back on the goal trail .

And we still need a striker

My question back to you is do you go to the matches or even watch them on television or stream them online?

Puncheon is just not the goal threat he once was - he scores less because he takes less shots, and rarely gets decent scoring opportunities.

His shots per game have declined every year since we've been in the PL
13/14 - 2.8
14/15 - 2.1
15/16 - 1.9
16/17 - 1.5

Probably not helped by Pardew thinking he was a central midfielder, but his most dangerous goalscoring form has always come on the wing.

Shots inside the box per game (much more likely to be scored than outside the box). With these stats he's just unlikely to ever score regularly (although should be scoring at least 1)

13/14 - 1.3
14/15 - 0.7
15/16 - 0.8
16/17 - 0.6

This. A left foot is BEST used on the wing

He has no pace so he can no longer play on the wing like he once did also that season he looked good was due to catching out other teams with the counter attacking football but every one knows now what plays like him do.

His shooting was never that good anyway he used to play like Townsend does all about himself coming on on left foot looking to shoot only.

The guy has never been great it mostly comes down to same old Palace go for people that has some sort of tie to the club/area

Regarding him being captain is a complete joke and shows lack of characters if he is the main being captain.

I don't mind some players not scoring if they are working hard in other areas.
