Not much between them, for me. But as stated, if we're to progress we need 3 top quality centre backs, if not 4. Luka is a captain in waiting, I believe.

People seem to forget that Tomkins was also garbage before Big Sam. Both improved massively under Big Sam but that also might be due to Sakho, Dann was also really good under Big Sam

what a 100% plonker you are! as someone said before happy your not our manager.I agree Dann didn't have hes best season for what ever reasons but i still put him ahead of Tomkins not by lot.

If he's dropped from the captaincy, which he should in my opinion, he clearly shown he's not good enough captain. If is a very big word who says he won't be captain. i do agree with you about not being a good captian but if a new manager appoints someone else i don't see a problem for him,again as i said i think he will be ahead of Tomkins and we need good replacements over a season so keep both.as to your point on affordability our do you or i know what how budget is or isn't. before getting rid of Dann i can think of 3-4 players i would get rid off way before him so lets wait and see.
