If Roy Hodgson comes in then we're only going one way and that's the Championship. After yesterday's performance I'm convinced we would have won on Saturday and gone on from there. Huge mistake!

To sack DeBoer after just 4 games is perhaps the most stupid decision in my near 50 years of following Palace and by God there has been some stupid decisions. 5 years ago Roy was a good manager, there were times when he was managing England I was wondering whether dementia had started to set in. He should be enjoying his retirement and we should have been embracing a change of style even if it meant a season of struggle. If we get relegated this season after this, we will thoroughly deserve it. Disgusting!

SP if this is the case I for one will feel very embarrassed and recommend a big re-think from your side. We missed Silva just look at what he has done at Watord so far. The last couple of weeks HOL has mostly been in a spin about Parish and why he won't sack De Boer. Now it appears he has, yet so much shock horror on HOL. Just makes me laugh that's all. Personally I thought we played our best Football all season including pre-season and maybe blindly believed that we were starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. Now new manager comes in and precedes to change to his preferred system of play, this takes time for the players to adapt to the new system and sometime around early November CPFC secure their first win. Just when things were finally starting to look up. You couldn't make this $hit up!

Absolutely the right decision. The guy was an idiot. Burnley could have been 3-2 to them in the first half then we dominated because they sat back and dealt with everything we had. Hiring Frank was Parish's mistake, he is making it right.

I'm gobsmacked. He changed to a back four, which almost everyone agreed was needed and we definitely played better. His mistake yesterday was including Lee in the first place (which turned out to be a bigger disaster than I expected when I saw the team sheet) and not playing Milivojevic. Also he can't be held responsible for Benteke and Dann missing sitters like that. I really thought that he'd get at least until the next international break (i.e. 'til after Man U or possibly 'til after W Ham even). I can't see the sense of how we're handling this unless we were worried that Hodgson would join a fellow struggler in the near future, closing off our apparently favoured option.
