From what we're continually told, the sporting director has responsibility over the playing staff and appoints the manager. If, as is widely rumoured, Roy is going to become the next manager is it Freedman appointing him, as should be the case, or Parish? A lot of us feel Parish needs to take more flack, which he now is, and many think he is still golden but he is making more mistake than Simon Jordan but is getting away with it because of the PL money. Will Parish make it to 10 years in charge of the club? At this rate I doubt it. The two Americans own 1/3 a piece and can out-vote Parish who has 1/3. Seems to be a little precarious. Simon Jordan's book is titled 'Be Careful What You Wish For' and it is quite apt. Maybe Parish's would be called 'What Goes Around Comes Around'
