Unlikely as it was before, it would now make it nigh on impossible to sign him permanently.

He deserved it, however it makes me even more baffled as to how Zaha never got an England call up before he went to the Ivory Coast. He would of offered something different to the other wingers in the team.

Hope RLC takes this chance, especially against Germany as I am going, but just praying he doesn't get an injury. We need him fit.

I don't think it's deserved as Idon't think he's been amazing enough to get called up.

Zaha probably the only player who's been very very good for us this season.

Saying that tho England are average anyway and we don't have world class players to call up.

Great news for Chelsea as it will add a few £ when they sell him.

Tammy Abraham and RLC, previously Jesse Lingard. Someone definitely had something against Wilf. With the best will in the world, Abraham is no Kane, RLC is no Alli and Lingard is no Wilf. Spot the deliberate mistake!

Not out of place in that company at all. Townsend wouldn't be either.

He did, he played against Sweden and Scotland but crucially they never played him in a competitive game. These two upcoming games are non-competitive games also.

Was he with Man U then? Anyways Hodgson and Southgate both had a chance when he was playing at a lot higher level and blew it

Floats in and out of matches too much when he should be in the thick of it for 90+ mins. Yet another case of reputation being more important than form. Saying that, he should easily surpass footballing neanderthal Henderson.

Cheek's hardly played over the last few years, compared to Alli for example, so hopefully the extra game time will help him progress during the short time he's with us.

Nope, with us. One of our sponsors at the time even had "He's just too good for you" put on the pitch-side advertising boards.

Townsend has been playing well this season and deserves a call up over Ashley Young and Lingard (why is he constantly called up?) and probably RLC too.

RLC is the future though so I can understand why he got the nod even if he hasn't had a chance to do much this season so far due to injuries
