The whole thing is just crazy. Sacking Pulis, a survival specialist, for Pardew. Crazy. Serves them right. Horrible club with thuggish players and an ugly strip. Good riddance.

And probably the main men responsible for making that decision, Chairman John Williams and Chief Exec Martin Goodman were both sacked by the owner.

Pulis would have guaranteed survival but when he departed WBA were 17th and had only won 1 of their previous 11 games so perhaps one can understand why they felt they needed to make a change.

It's more comfy at the tv studio.

And he'll get his own make up artist

It's crazy (and worrying) how quickly a seemingly stable club can implode. That's a warning to many. The financial reports were a shock.

For them to avoid the same 'culture of failure' that's rotten through Sunderland could be a real challenge. All the PR from the club just wreaks of poor attitude. When you've got people like Gareth Barry, Livermore and Jonny Evans in trouble, it seems everyone gave up a long time ago. They let their boss down massively, which suggests they either don't respect him or just don't care.

Much as it's fun to laugh at Pardew, I believe the decision to leave was 'mutual'. Must be pretty awful trying to pull all that lot together when it's so apparent the foundations are crumbling.

Guessing the fired chief execs were the ones who hired him. An absent owner who only looks at results. Your most experienced professionals getting themselves arrested on a team break (that many would say they didn't deserve). Your top scorer gets accused of racism. If i was in charge I'd be feeling unsupported, and generally pretty over whelmed by the task in hand. This mess didn't start during his 18 games.

Probably best suited to an opportunity in the Championship and should by a quirk of fate we find ourselves back there one day, not beyond the realm of possibility that Parish may once again appoint Pards, his old chum, to lead our charge for top flight status.

I bet they wished they'd cashed in on Jonny Evans in January.

Optimistic as ever

When Pulis joined in 2014/15 WBA were 17th after 20 games and he got them up to 13th in the table.
The following season 2015/16 they finished in 14th place and last season they ended up in a crediatbe 10th place.

This season it started well for WBA with wins in their first 2 games but they then went 10 games without a win and they were 17th when Pulis was sacked.

Pardew took over a side which were 16th and hadn't won for 12 games and he was only able to bring in 2 'Loan' players so there were extenuating circumstances.

Pardew as a manager has promotions on his CV so perhaps a Chairman will take this into account and offer him a job.

In a lower division, perhaps. But you have to accept that, in Premiership terms, he's pretty much soiled goods now.

I wonder if we will see Pards as manager here again.

Subject to their being a vacancy that is, we don't know what RH plans are and he is 70.

Would give him another chance myself.

AP has done just like I said gone before they are classed as relegated when he is the one that has taken them down they was not even in relegation zone when he took over.

I hope AP never gets another job again he is awful almost taking Palace down now he has relegated WB

I hope he does.
If we a struggling again next season I would want him in charge of one of our fellow strugglers

Your judgement in this, as in everything else, is completely deranged.
