I think wan bissaka has been a great addition to the squad since he has come in. He has done brilliant for a few games now.

However I have noticed over the last few games he has been caught out of position. Today that costs us 2 points because he let josh King free at the corner. He was even out of position when Ake crosses to win that corner.

I think we have a great player on the bench in Fosu he has a lot more experience that wan. I really think in this regulation battle playing Tim is a much better option considering we can’t throw away any point now.

If we stay up wan bissaka has the whole of next season to come into his own.

He’s been caught out of position a few times and I think one of our players even mentioned it as the key area for him to work on. That said he’s been brilliant in every other area and the positioning comes with experience. Given the teams he’s faced, being dragged out of position occasionally against top opposition is not anything to be ashamed about.

Ironically tfm’s Worst thing is his positioning so it’s much for a muchness in that regard. keep playing the kid, he’s been excellent and has earned it.

Yup. TFM and AWB are pretty even in my mind, slightly different strengths and weaknesses but neither is yet a fully competent prem right back. They are both great players.

Sometimes, as in this case, "Greatness" is bestowed when it isn't deserved.

I wouldn't say they were great at all. This is NOT to criticise them in any shape or form, just advocating that as yet they cannot be considered in this category.

I remember a fullback that got caught out of position a few times, his name was Kenny Sansom, enough said.

We have a talent here and if he turns out to be as good as Kenny was, I would be more than happy. He is learning his trade, he is going to make mistakes...

I said to a mate before the Bournemouth game that he is due a rest regardless of the result/performance. For the good of his own development. This isn’t nothing negative. It’s just what you need to do with these young players to stop them burning out and going backwards.

Sometimes, as in this case, pedantism is demonstrated when it isn’t deserved

Nevertheless I shall change my great for quite reasonable, especially for you.

I like them for their enthusiasm and effort.

Clearly I did not intend to say they are Messi beaters right now.

Fosu mensah has no positional sense at all. If we're dropping bissaka it should be for ward. Shouldn't happen in my eyes Though

What's happened to ward. He was playing really well before he got injured. I'd rather play him af tge moment than either of the 2 youngsters. Need experience to see us through thd next 5 games.

Yes I agree, however at this crucial time in our fight against relegation we cannot afford costly mistakes.

Baptism of fire for young Wan-Bissaka being thrust into a relegation battle and it is challenge for him technically, physically and mentally.

I think they are both very good players that will only get better with game time experience.

I would assume TFM will be going back to his home team at end of the season whatever happens to us so I'd rather Wan B was gaining that experience as we benefit in the long run and not Manure.
