So, us Eagles will become honorary Foxes for 95 minutes this evening.

southampton looked good in games against Chelski and Arsenal recently, but lost both games. certainly our biggest relegation threat.

Leicester may already be 'on the beach' with holiday plans in mind.

Obviously we want Leicester to win, but a draw may be enough to keep the Saints out of heaven ?

Any predictions ?

If i were a betting man.. and i am, then i'd say Leicester won't win the game but could hold Southampton to a draw.. i see it being a 3-3 kinda game, which would suit me just fine, this is one of the games Southampton should be looking to win given Leicesters season being pretty much over.

Leicester have failed to win in their last 4 Home games covering both league and cup.
They have lost their last 2 league games.

Wouldn't surprise me if Southampton win the game.

Sigh....

well, it would be a nasty surprise for the rest of us. ok willo ?

i predict Southampton to take the lead and then p1ss it all away when Leicester wake up and realise they are in a game.

One of my best mates is a die hard Leicester fan and he tells me not to pin any hopes on them beating Soton, in his words Leicester have been crap and are probably already on the beach.

Leicester are very unlikely to catch Burnley, so they have little to play for. Funnily enough though, as they have been out of form I would actually expect them to lift their game, more than if they came into this off the back of a few wins. Puel will want a performance against his old club, plus Vardy is very capable of testing a very shaky Southampton backline.

Nevertheless, if Saints can match the intensity they showed in the first half against Chelsea then I can see them getting a point, or maybe even three.

Come on you Foxes!

You said that on Saturday. Southampton have lost their last 4, including their last 3 away games, shipping 3 goals in each game. They've won once Away from home in the league since beating us in September and that was a 3-2 against Pardew's West Brom who threw away an early lead and then came very close to coming back to 3-3 having been 3-1 down.

While Leicester might lose, they are the better side with better players and they are at home. Both sides clearly not in great form but Leicester should be considered favourites.

If you think they will be "on the beach for this one" then I assume you think the same next week when we play them and will be predicting a Home win for that game.

Of course, after a win at Watford, our players will be building sandcastles as well

With respect I never mentioned about them being "On the beach" etc etc.
All I have done is to provide some stats with regard to their more recent results.

I’m hoping soton have half an eye on the cup semi against Chelsea coupled with puel wanting to extract some revenge but then again probably not who knows ?
