He was nigh on 3 and half minutes down on Yates yesterday and he beat the whole field by 3 mins+ which is staggering!

Attacked from 80 km that is an amazing period for a cyclist to be alone in front. Will be looking actually for the descent not just the climbing, of Finestra quite breathtaking according to the commentary.

Thus far a pathetic peformance from England, playing at home,used to the conditions, against an experienced pakistan side. All these "Nicey-Nicey" commentators not being critical of this dastardly display when they should really be telling it as it is.What's Geoff Boycott doing ?

Interesting preparation from both sides. pakistan play a Test Match against Ireland plus a four day game against a county to get used to English conditions whilst England's two stroke makers warm up by playing 20/20 in India and arrive back here in the nick of time leaving no opportunity to remind themselves what red ball cricket is all about
