Totally agree with you Willo. I cannot believe some of his comments, presumably he feels Pardew would have won the Champions League with Bayern or the World Cup with Germany😂

Spiderman, even you could have won the Champions League with Bayern if the locker room accepted you as a manager. It's not that big of a deal. You have doctors, physios doing their thing, the training sessions are practically done by someone else, you have people telling you who is suspended and who you should rest and what strategy you need for every match according to its importance.

Just wanted to revive this old thread.
Out of the European teams at the World Cup, 10 made it past the group stage: Spain, France, England, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, Russia, Denmark, Sweden. Only 3 went out: Iceland, Germany and perhaps Serbia (depending on today's match).
That shows a lot about Germany's manager knowledge.

Today he played with Goretzka as right midfielder. A great player, but he has played all his matches this year in the Bundesliga as central midfielder for Schalke, not right midfielder. And Leroy Sane, who could have played as right midfielder, a player with 23 goals and 27 assists in all competitions as a winger this season was left at home.

I rest my case. The sentence has already been passed.

Germany have been s***. Sane probably should have been in the squad but he may not have made much of a difference.

Sterling had a great season for City but is really s*** for England.

Can't blame Germany going out on one player not playing.

Operation Barbarossa 2.

a calamitous campaign to the East, returning as losers with their tail between their legs.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Hmmm, much as I enjoyed it, I think comparing it to a genocidal military campaign is a bit wrong!

I was fuming at the officials’ attempts at:

1. Trying to find any way they could to disallow both goals
2. Setting a world record for time added on. In the end it was NINE minutes ie the 2nd half was one and one-fifth of a half.

It isn't necessarily just Löw. After all Hodgson has proven to be an excellent manager beforehand and since, but still presided over two s***e international finals with England.

Not a real shock after their last 2 performances and recent friendly against Brazil. Sweden should of sent them packing but for poor, naive defending. Their youngsters just aren't up to replacing their old guard, a number of, like Khedira are still playing in the team. Maybe the quality of the Bundesliga is also an attribute ?

Bundesliga's great.

Khedira is still terrific. 9 goals and 7 assists as a defensive midfielder for Juventus last season.

Low's an idiot. It's all been Low.

When it comes to Low, he has reached rock bottom after Germany's dumping out of the World Cup today. P45 will be winging its way to him unless he chooses to resign beforehand.

Sane will be able to use this time to pick over the wreckage from afar without needing to apportion any blame to himself whilst also getting himself fully refreshed for start of next Premiership season that'll surely delight Man City fans
