Yes I agree, very poor atmosphere tonight out sung by the Scousers, f***ing embarrassing 12th man me arse. Bring back the ultras .

Was always gonna be the case, anyone that thought any differently never went selhurst before the hf. Back to eagles every time we get a corner apart from that the rest of the 90 minutes sat in silence.

Missed the HF. Second half quiet periods without them lot singing regardless. However decent enough atmosphere Klopp and few Scousers in Victory club I chatted with still thought was good atmosphere. It is what it is I'm sure will get better. Then HF boys do well but if can't be a group then rest of us will have to step up. Clearly didn't effect performance matches one of the best teams in Europe for long periods. Had no luck with big decisions. Will be a good season.

The major worry is this was the first home game of the season, under lights and against Liverpool...the atmosphere is going to get a lot worse. The whole Selhurst experience is going to be no different to any other Prem club. It's a a real cluster f and could have been avoided.

I saw a post on the match thread thought it was very funny. It was very nice of the homelsdale end to hold a 90 minute silence as a mark of respect for the HF .

Block B and C were trying their hardest but it was a little flat. More goading the other fans as opposed to supporting the team. Whoever the group is at the front that has replaced the HF were a bit embarrassing. One guy with his top off sticking his finger up at the rest of block B. Very blizzare behaviour. HF will be missed and for the better of the club I'd move Seats if it meant we could regain the HF. Edited by tinribzzz (20 Aug 2018 11.09pm)

it was slightly s***ter than it would have been when the HF attended as a group. let's not misremember reality. poor atmosphere, as has been the norm, but the club has little clue how to help generate one. I do feel sorry for the HF, regardless of whether they have been flouncy t***s (or not).
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

What an earth was Klopp doing in the Victory Club after the game?

I was indifferent to the HF when they were there but as the old saying goes "you don't know what you had until its gone". It is a spectacular own goal by the club and has changed the match day experience.
