In other news, and as a welcome diversion from the Biden hatefest that some seem to enjoy, the world’s favourite big mouth has been ordered to shut it. Again! Didn’t seem to work. He insulted the Judge within minutes of the order being made. Does anyone else think he is doing this deliberately so he has to be jailed where he he can pose as a martyr whilst continuing to spout nonsense?
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Biden thinks the USA is a 'beacon to the world'. Well the world is more likely to be looking at the devastation in Gaza now. Any idea that the USA is some sort of moral authority is buried there.

Apparently Gavin Newsome has already announced that he won't be running for president in 2024. Instead he spoke about Harris being the natural successor to Biden....I kid you not.

Yup, I suppose if you had a weak candidate like Harris the worst thing to do would be to announce your candidacy too early as the media / other politicians might tear you apart. So maybe her campaign is to hold back until the Democrats decide Biden has to go then she can charge in as the white Knight at the last moment. Time will tell.

I have long thought that we would see Harris parachuted into the candidacy after a Biden withdrawal. She impressed me during the run in last time but less so since, on the rare occasions she has been visible, as she has been below the radar most of the time. Maybe she will shine when under the spotlight! The question is would she boost, or decrease, the Democrats chances? She is after all a woman. Has little baggage. Doesn’t have a son with a dodgy past. Her ethnicity may attract some whilst not losing others.
