Two poor teams slugging it out, it’ll either be 1-0, 0-0 or 0-1, hopefully the latter

Alright lads, been a while. That game against Everton was anomalous as much of the season we've been passive, porous and poison for the eyes. At Goodison we were more aggressive, positive and dynamic than we have been all season. Best performance so far. Like you, we've a few injuries; Lascelles, Fernandez, Dummet. Fraser and ASM still don't have a full 90 in them. Willock won't be available yet. If we play as well as we did against Everton I'd be confident of getting another win. But, what's more likely, is Bruce will switch formation, personnel and system again and we'll get an undeserved point, or a deserved loss.

Thanks for the info.

Let's hope it's a good game.

How long will it takes till Hodgson plays Mateta? Remember Guaita was left for a while on the bench with Wayne H. as the keeper. No reason to wait for his debut - Batman and Benteke must beway behind him in the pecking order.

Batman would have been on the scorsheet if a selfish Zaha had just squared the ball for a tap in rather than wildly thrash a shot against the bar. Batman stayed onside too! Buy her a little present and give her a little smile. Could pay dividends on these long nights in lockdown. Don't moan at the poor lady over football. They never quite get it, just like we don't understand their interest in hairstyles and pinafores.

Either 1-1 in a boring game or both sets of forwards go mad in a 4-4 draw!

We know how you feel It’s amazing where these performances come from when it’s been so bleak isn’t it? We’ve had our moments this season, but a lot of the time it’s been painful to watch. Dull some games and capitulation in others, but like you we get the occasional decent performance and will grind out enough points to keep out of trouble.
