He was hilarious and still used to take everyone on, and beat them, when he was about 40. The keeper at the time was Paul Jones. Went on to bigger things, Southampton and Wales.
Paul Davies was 'ocker' Davies, Ocker basically means rough. I remember his brother saving me (as a kid) from Cheltenham hooligans. He just lamped a couple.
