Liverpool had all the breaks with the second goal offside that was clear from Match of the Day showing Firmino offside and interfering with play and the ridicules penalty. Still we had more than enough chances to get a point from this game.

I’m normally in the main stand but yesterday the Arthur Waite. I don’t think anything much has changed since the sixties. It took over an half hour to get into the stadium and with only one small toilet it took the whole of half time to have a pee. Shocking facilities and Steve Parish should on match day sit in the stand to see what it is like.

Total and utter hogwash. We look like a team in the relegation places.

You've been strangely quiet regarding the refereeing yesterday?

Care to offer your thoughts, as one who usually defends the men in black?

I won’t add anything more about the terrible decisions by the officials but thought our best players yesterday were Michael Olise and Jeff Schlupp who had his best game for us and played the full ninety minutes.

Do behave. Ridiculous comment. Please enlighten us as to why the referee got the big decisions correct, because if you do you will be only the 4th person, behind Friend, Pawson, Klopp and Jota

Off the training ground maybe. But you don't need to be Einstein to work out where Liverpool's main aerial threats would come from, and VVD being one. The run should have at least been blocked, that's a fundamental basic at set piece defending.

He is their most dangerous player in terms of headers from corners. Somebody needed to be with him. It was a very poor goal to concede as nobody was near him. The officials did have a poor game as Micah Richards said on MOtD but the similar story is unfortunately us not taking our chances when presented. Edouard, Mateta, Gallagher and Olise all had decent chances but couldn't convert them. Olise looked the best of the bunch and was unlucky with the lob which needed a bit more on it. Now need to regroup in the longish break which might benefit us, with 2 tough away games in quick succession where hopefully we will have more luck in front of goal. COYP !!

Every supporter is biased towards decisions by Referee's/VAR on their own side.
I supply one of the main Liverpool bars in NYC & on their FB page to a man/woman they all thought it wasn't a penalty, that said they think they dis enough especially in the first half to take all three points.

Jamie Carragher supports Liverpool yet he thought it was a fairly obvious penalty

Will be interesting to see if The Full 90 of the match ever shows up on Palace TV+ or perhaps it will be withheld so that the match can't be reviewed in detail with regard to the officiating.

I think, Anderson was marking VVD, and when the Liverpool players broke from their little cluster, Jeff ended up blocking Anderson. Not an excuse by explains why he wasn't marked.

Regardless Anderson needs to be far more aggressive. Do what everyone else does and hold the guy

I do think Andersen's main weakness is he is too lightweight in the air. He does not have the run-through-walls Delaney type aggression or the I-bench-press-rhinos Cahill strength. Having said that, without Kouyate we do look a bit small when defending set-pieces.
