Or in this case the fact that he didn’t catch the Cardiff man higher (or lower…or something) on the leg.

Yeah, they prattled on about that for so long. If the roles were reversed there would have been none of that!

Yes it getting to be a reacurring thing now with LiVARpool , It was a definate sending off for their keeper . The FA sure dont want Cardif beating the mighty cheats Livarpool . Studs were up in on goal , got nothing of the ball , if that was Vincente he would be off.

If anyone’s watching Liverpool v Cardiff, Cardiff have just been denied a pretty decent shout for a penalty. Makes you wonder doesn’t it?

Another ludicrous decision. Just the tackle alone was a red card. Over the ball etc etc. Plus last man etc.
Totally bent.

Sc ou user pen at Selhurst was definitely bent. Everyone agrees. Those two officials should be seriously publicly challenged. Bank accounts checked. This should not be happening. Way too obvious. Instead the Premier have silenced it. All wrong. Corruption at its worst.

There is now so much money at stake in football that it can’t be long until clubs start to look for some form of redress over these decisions. Imagine if a team got relegated after Liverpool’s second goal; no subjectivity involved just a clear and obvious infringement which VAR ignores.

Should be a replay.

Totally agree. The ref has given the keeper a yellow, so there's no argument about it being an infringement or not. The keeper was the last man, had the Cardiff player taken it round the keeper he would have had the whole goal to aim at.

could we sue the PL [as they insist on VAR ] at the end of the season for points lost which could have change our position in the league and therefor the amount we would get ?

Since VAR we've had decisions go against us and for us. Yes they screwed us this time and next time we may benefit. They're not going to replay the game, they've punished the wrong official, get over it.

Got to say I’m running out of steam on VAR. AND THis new rule on handling of offsides gets my goat. Bothe ways they let the game go on. Then decide. Why not put an electronic chip in the device already on the back of every player that would beep if they’re offside. Then it’s instant. The only good one is goal line technology cos it’s instant.

Typical though that the one they get right is the one that happens most infrequently.
The Middlesbrough handball was daft as well, the fact it was a different player who scored shouldn’t matter. Not that it wasn’t funny of course.

It seems to me that VAR was only invented to make sure that LiVARpool win matches . I wonder are the players themselves not embarrased by some of the decisions , i know their managers not .
