I think once the Spanish realised the Brits were buying their oranges for marmalade somebody decided to cross breed to make them edible so the Seville orange of today is not the same as say 200 years ago. Sounds like you missed out on these they were fantastic Only had one afternoon off due to high winds. Thought we did well to get in the two we did but would definitely go back and do more.

I often visit lovely historic towns and think great but would not want to live their. Seville has that nice mix of old and new it's not just a tourist trap it has a life away from all that.
