He’s still good, but not the same without Jimmy Mac. Torvill without dean =sh*t
Rod and Jane without Freddy =2 Bob.
Seems like since MacArthur has been injured, our performances have dropped off. Still our player of the year for me.

Eze is the best player at the club and needs to play the AM role

Sad thing is, Chelsea is his boyhood club and he is almost certainly going to opt to take his chances there. All very glamourous, but he will be on the bench at best, playing Carabao Cup and meaningless ties against the little sides in the Champions League qualifiers. He will lose a season, possibly two before moving on to fresh pastures. More Loftus Cheek and Danny Drinkwater, than Ngolo Kante or Jorginho.

Come to Palace with a Chelsea buy back clause, play every game, be loved by the fans, and if you really hit the jackpot, go back to Chelsea with a couple of successful years under your belt and an England place, and walk straight in to the starting eleven.

Here's hoping.

Good Plan

Injury has taken away his edge, he has done nothing in his appearances since.
Now not good enough to be a first team automatic pick.

Some of his best displays have been when Kouyate played as his defensive responsibilities are reduced. Think Kouyate returning (hopefully with a buzz from the Afcon--- not malaria) will see his performances improve.

Yes. He has been able to play further forward, which imo is where he is at his bet. Being able to get into the box more

Sorry cannot agree. ATM Eze is not up to speed to be in the team, as Painter said the injury has taken away his edge but hopefully it will return. I am a big fan of Eze by the way

It's easy to get misty eyed nostalgic when thinking of Eze's finer performances, but truth is there were a lot of games where he was fairly anonymous. At the time I thought it might be Hodgson's tactics hindering Eze's obvious talent. Until he fully recovers from the injury, we'll never know. PV is giving the time he needs, but until then it can't be said he's the best player at the club. Potentially? Yes of course, why not? But not at the moment.

As much as I want him in the team, he's not really got his mojo back yet. But he will.

ATM he's a bench player for me, but would 100% be bringing him on in that no10 role.

I also wouldn't be scared to bring him on for Connor, his form has dropped of late

Gallagher is young with limited experience at Premier League level.

His early performances set a high benchmark that was always going to be difficult to sustain.

He's also missed Jimmy Mac alongside him.

It's a bit of levelling out with him at the moment, but I'm sure he can recapture that early season form before too much longer.
