Anyone got one and are they good? , also easy to install?

A couple of neighbours have them and say that they work well But I tried out a Ring doorbell and had to send it back as it only worked sporadically.

I think there will be a clamp down on these soon as I think can pick up conversations up to 30 metres away. There have been complaints about privacy.

Be careful of ones that are motion detected. The camera is asleep until it detects movement however the complaint is that by the time it activates the perp has moved on pass the camera so you get a blurry arm or even nothing. Depends on your needs.

I have a ring video doorbell which seems to work well - also you can go to live feed on it so if its one of those charity collectors looking to sign you up for a monthly donation or a door knocker looking to sell you something (we get loads around here) I also have 2 big Macedonian Shepherds, lol

well considering the cvnts who run the world have all the camera & microphone tech. its a bit rich telling the rest of us its forbidden. Burglars hate those cameras. Mr Miyagi in Forest Hill should have installed one. Edited by PalazioVecchio (01 Aug 2022 1.19pm)

Just got a ring doorbell and love it. No delay and as above you can see it live. For example I can see today that the birds mum is round mine so I know not to finish work early. It's brilliant
