In which case, what an abhorrent society we live in, infested by woke warriors and political correctness.

I can assure one and all that I shall use the terms 'Barman' and 'Barmaid' instead of 'Barperson', a man who delivers milk will be referred to as a 'Milkman' and a lady with a 'Lollipop' at a zebra crossing I shall refer to as a 'Lollipop lady'.

If anyone takes umbrage I will tear a strip off them and they will face shot and shell with me being unable to bridle my tongue.

Presumably commentators can no longer describe a fracas that amounts to not a lot as "handbags"?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

It is the model of plausibility that they have been given a list of words and phrases they are not permitted to use.
What a sad world we live in, the PC Brigade marinating themselves in a 'Woke' cauldron.

You also now have Night***chers in Cricket rather than Night***chmen.

It is Indeed, Willo. It is Indeed.

I must admit that I've never heard that term being used.

What is that big round steel thing that covers an entrance to a sewer now called?

Builders' Merchants still call them manhole covers, although I have seen the term 'maintenance hole cover'.

Rachael Heyhoe Flint, England women's cricket captain from 1966 to 1978, used to joke that she and her fellow players called the 'box' a manhole cover. Imagine that today!

got to pick you up on that one, pop could be a colloquial reference to fatherhood, so it should be a 'lolliparent person', who helps school children across a zebra or badger crossing, so we don't exclude other stripy mammals or ungulates. Keep up Willo, you may have returned by popular demand but this scatter gun bigotry has to stop, you're worse than Stirlingsays.

And any reference to crosses is culturally insensitive.
Is the lolly in question vegan?
Also why should okapis be lumped in with other stripy mammals? They make just as important a contribution to society.
