If he has even half an idea where the goal is we should get him back.

At this point, that's sensible rather than funny. Rak Sakyi and/or Gordon might not be capable of scoring in the PL, but the key word is might. We know Edouard and Mateta aren't capable, so there's arguably not much to lose by trying the kids.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Whilst watching an U21 game on Palace TV the other week, Mark Bright was providing some addition to the commentary, he said then that he really enjoys keeping tabs on how the loan players are doing & attends as many of their matches as possible-

I couldn't make out of that was part of his role with the club or just something that he did because he enjoyed it.

I did not witness the Charlton game yesterday but I understand that Mark Bright was going to the match.

From all accounts Rak-Sakyi is performing with some aplomb and is popular with the Charlton supporters.

That is part of his role at the club.

I think Jes would struggle with the physicality of the PL. But having given him a taste of mens football with Charlton, I think he would have been a useful squad player for Palace for the second half of the season.

As for Gordon, alongside Ozoh, he's one that I think could make it.

Except for those players who play on a Saturday as he prefers to sit next to Parish rather than watch the youngsters

I watched Charlton's game last week against Bolton (promotion candidates), the standard of defending was poor by both teams a premier league striker given that amount of time and space would have filled his boots.

JRS is doing well but the PL is a different level again I don't think he is ready and neither do the club. Let's hope he continues to improve.

Except for any of our strikers - obviously.

If we heard Palace were signing a young winger from a league 1 team, who had scored eight or so goals in his first season in the first team, we'd all say he was one for the future rather than a player to strengthen our first team. I can't pretend to have watched much of Rak-Sahki at Charlton, but if he wasn't already our player then I doubt he'd be on the radar.

That said, these are the years when a player gets formed. Not only is the standard in the Premier league infinitely higher, its a very different way of playing too compared with league one.

At Liverpool, Klopp has been very reluctant to let some of his young talent out on loan in the past because he wants them taught to play the way his team plays, and to that standard, and thinks they are better off in the building than on loan doing a very different job.

Hard to say what's best for the kids development now. Mitchell and AWB never went on loan, they just came in to the team. Meanwhile, the ones who have gone on loan seem never to end up playing for us.

We look absolutely blunt, predictable and lacking in quality and intensity in the final third. I've a similar view to that expressed by one or two others that we'll almost certainly get relegated if this doesn't improve.

(Assuming we're allowed ?) I don't think there's much to lose from bringing him back from loan to give us another option at the business end of the game.

We could well be in the Championship ourselves.

i think if you read my comment properly i have covered all scenarios. We can use him as an impact sub next season (based on what i've seen of him at Charlton) regardless of the division we are playing in. If we stay up and have alternatives a championship loan looks the likely next step for him.

If other people want to talk about relegation matters maybe do so on the relegation thread that has been created.

In terms of Mark Bright - he is paid to monitor and mentor loan players, watching them is part of his remit.

I gave your comment the full attention.
I have contributed on the 'Relegation' thread.
I am fully 'Au Fait' with Mark Bright's role at the club.
