He was a total alcoholic bless him and it was sad as he was a very gifted football player back in the 70s who played for Sutton United, so didn't do to bad but the demon drink got hold of him..
Anyway I digress.. I always remember he used to wear a Brazil shirt and supported Brazil in any major tournament.. I asked him why once and he said ' Because in the 70s Brazil played football how it should be played.. They played it beautifully and Pele was the epitome of how football should always be'...

Sorry a bit of a pointless story I know but it always stuck in my head so I thought now was the perfect time to tell it!!

It's how a lot of people felt. Brazil was probably most people's second team. The same will not be said of the Argies.
