If recent games are anything to go by I can't see us being very adventurous. It'll be the same rear-guard game plan which, once they score first, and I think they will, will leave us with the choice of opening up or keeping it tight. London is the top city for car crime with Liverpool a lowly tenth so you are quite right to suggest that cars should be locked with all those Londoners in the area

I know I have complained about the kick off time against Liverpool but for sure its worse for the away support, by the time that they get back to Euston (or whatever London station takes them home) they wont have many options & will likely get home after midnight- Worse for those travelling down on coaches - Originally posted by Croydon-Trucker Something nill to Scummerpool . I always fear a battering against any 'big' team whatever the weather and I am starting to wonder, with a long winless run, if a heavy defeat here might spell the end for PV? Conversely, we could get a result and see the resurgence (not impossible). As initially predicted however I think it will be an expected, routine win for the rats with us being half competitive in the match and this dismal period further dragging on without change. Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

My prediction is 2-4 goals for L'pool and 0/1 goal for us.

I always fear a battering against any 'big' team whatever the weather and I am starting to wonder, with a long winless run, if a heavy defeat here might spell the end for PV?

Conversely, we could get a result and see the resurgence (not impossible).

As initially predicted however I think it will be an expected, routine win for the rats with us being half competitive in the match and this dismal period further dragging on without change.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

They have quite a hard game in the week before Saturday. Traditionally, we used to always give these games a go - and often they get an injury or are resting someone. Plus, no more Mane banging them in for fun against us. Perhaps clutching at straws but they're also not exactly at their peak this season. Red and Blue Army!
