Yesterday was his first appearance of the season after being out injured for quite a while. He came on as sub for the last 10 mins. I am certainly not expecting him to start against Man C.

Jimmy Mac sat on the bench for 3 games before he was allowed to come on as a substitute. I think there is another James playing for a "top 6 club" who is 2 years older. He does fairly well so age may not be a factor. Concerned that PV might favour Riedewald

2 years older. He does fairly well so age may not be a factor.

2022-23 5 appearances, all off the bench
2021-22 5 appearances, 4 off the bench.
His only start was in the 3-0 away defeat at Chelsea last season.
