I spent yesterday drinking Wicked Wolf from Exmoor Ales. Not very strong but claims to have "a hint of juniper". My jaded palate couldn't have told that but it was very pleasant. Worth checking anyway.

Not much use for you YT but it was a pub called The Guildford Arms in Edinburgh. They always have a terrific range of different beer on.

Ah, well, the Guildford is only 2 minutes walk from Waverley station and Rose Street is very close and has another dozen pubs, the Abbotsford is well worth a visit.
Another one I like is the Bier Hoose on the way down to Leith which has a selection of German and Belgian beers.

It has been a while. I left the Uk in 2013 and the last time I was back was 2018......mind you French bar prices are no cheaper....probably 6-7 euro for a half liter out here in the sticks.

Having been a lager lout since I was about 12 I must admit that one thing I envy about the "bitter" drinkers is their ability to have that discussion on available choices of select brews up & down the country - with Lager its usually the mass produced stuff, although I found something more local whilst still being very drinkable up in Campden the other week -

I like lager as well. One I particularly enjoy is Inniss & Gunn which is pretty widely available in Scotland - not sure if it's in England much. Can't say I'm a great fan of Craft Beer though which I find tends to be too tangy (and expensive).

I do like a hurlimans type lager. Can’t make it’s mid up which side it sits,
Am I lager, ale or bitter style.
Nice strong flavour as well; or I’ve smoked and drunk my taste buds away !
