Nespresso for me. Order pods on line they arrive sometimes next day and they take the old ones away to recycle.

Also a damned fine cup of coffee.

Yes indeed. I'm addicted to my one power cup a day.

We have a Siemens built-in, bean to cup machine at home which produces a reasonable cup of coffee, but our daughter has a Lavazza pod machine and her coffee is much better.

Talking of coffee beans being roasted, does anyone remember the place, I think near East Croydon station, maybe a Kenco coffee shop where the smell of fresh ground coffee pervaded the street? Wonderful.

There was a coffee shop ( not cafe) in Bromley High Street where they had the bean grinders in the window at the front of the shop. There was heady smell of freshly ground beans that struck you as you approached.

I remember Whittards of Chelsea within the Glades at Bromley (probably long gone by now) that always smelt devine when you walked in with the different varieties of tea and coffee...

I understand that the word 'grinder' has taken on a whole new meaning these days. I'll leave it to someone better-infomed to elaborate...

I'd consult the merchants who work in 'Up in Smoke' in Croydon. A store I am pretty sure is not a coffee shop.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I went to a coffee shop in Amsterdam. Don't remember much about it really. Didn't see too much coffee.
