I am with you there one hundred per cent - we always either dispense with ball-holding creative midfielders prematurely or else don't replace ones we have when they leave e.g. Yohan Cabaye, Michael Hughes, etc

Yes, we need a No.9 who can score but a creative midfielder has long been our weakest link.

When checked statistically Man Utd had 79 seconds more extra time on average than other teams.
