anyone else catch Queens of the stone age on the other stage whilst Elton was on the Pyramid stage?
Absolutely bossed it. They can still rock loud and heavy.

This is not from Private Eye.
It's an entry from Elton's diary in his autobiography.

"Got up. Tidied house. Watched football on TV. Wrote 'Candle In The Wind'. Went to London. Bought Rolls-Royce. Ringo Starr came to dinner."

Christ. Watching Debbie Harry is like watching your drunk 78 year old grandmother doing karaoke.

Embarrassing.

On this we agree.

It's all a matter of opinion, isn't it? I thought Elton John was the best televised concert I've ever seen. Apart from ELO at Glastonbury a few years back and, of course, Becky Hill over the weekend...would!!

At last, someone worth seeing.

The Cat is back. Only lapsed once by sending a greeting to Mecca. We don't need that religious stuff.

One of my favourite songsters and still sounding pretty good at 75.

Truly the hippy god.

Debbie Harry was very sad.Cat Stevens was good, but the hippy god was surely Donovan,I bet you've forgotten him.

Saw him live.

At Glastonbury.

Michael Eavis personally introduced him.

Didn't stop the similarly aged Mael brothers or the slightly younger Chrissy Hynde from being brilliant (although the less said of Ms. Harry the better).

Hopefully still on catch up.

One of those regrets as we watched Mr. MOR going his final gig on the other stage and wished we hadn't.
