With all the release clauses, Olise and co are obviously keen to be in complete control of his career. So I don't think he'd be the type to sign a new 4 year deal on a whim. I think we need to give Parish and Doug a little bit of credit, they obviously are trusted by the players. Also, Olise deleting all the Palace stuff on his Insta....was he always going to sign, and just playing with Todd?

As i have just said on another thread: "Well, Olise has surprised us all by staying. If any of the other 4 do leave it will be because the club have had an offer they simply can't refuse. Parish has shown he's no pushover. Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal and Spurs are going to have offer silly money to prise their supposed targets from us. Even then, I don't see Parish allowing more than ONE of them to go. People forget that Parish is first and foremost a Palace fan and he has the long term interests of the club at heart." Can I add to this that people should stop panicking and take Lanzo's advice and chill until the window is closed. (OK get a bit hyper on transfer deadline day if you must)

What is interesting is that there were no leaks on this. Goes to show when the club don’t want info in the public domain it stays in house. Just like when we signed him from reading it was done and took everyone by surprise.

Fair play Steve and Dougie. No doubt there’s a release clause in the new contract but hopefully it will reflect his value. Michael gets a fat increase and he’ll move on at some point. Lads going places but at least he’s with us now

Just came back online after having to annoyingly do some work this afternoon. I got a whatsapp from a very peeved Chelsea fan, it's made my day Chelsea are a shambles, run by a clown it would seem. I hope that Olise can return to the first team and really get another great season under his belt at Palace. After all we are a bigger club than Chelsea based on recent league positions...
