There is no movie of that name

It's not by any means good though - watchable perhaps. Stallone annoys me and the football is rubbish. The best part is the end. I like all jingoistic films but can still recognise when they're crap. Plus, Bobby Moore West Ham, Ossie Spurs etc.

Presumably you mean the very end ie the closing titles, rather than the final scene where the crowd invades the pitch etc. The crowd consisting of a whole load of early-80s-looking people wearing early-80s clothes and sporting early-80s haircuts and running across an early-80s-looking stadium.

Trivia: I can't remember if there was a plotline about the Ossie Ardiles character e.g. whether his character was Argentinian....how he came to be a prisoner etc etc. However, today's interesting fact is that Argentina remained neutral throughout WW2 until 27 March 1945, when it declared war on the Axis counties. And we say that the USA is always late to the party!

As an aside and on your early 80s point stardust with David Essex. A live gig with a 1966 poster and the band in early beatles matching suits. Otherwise it was early 1970s. The fans were all there for Essex. They didn't even bother dressing the roadies and security.
