Watching Hodgson at his age getting riled up by Lowe tackling him has me creased. Hodgson would knock him out. Playing well so far but would love a second goal to see out the game comfortably. The First 90 Minutes Are The Most Important!

Couple of take-aways from the game. We looked decent in possession. Lerma looks a very good signing. Sheffield are very ill-disciplined, expect a couple of reds throughout the season. Foderingham kept them in the game, could've been 3-0 if not for some great saves. Guehi seems to have picked up a knock, which forced our one and only sub. (wish we saw more use of our bench, especially defending a 1-0 lead with tired legs on the field) Ayew and Lerma the standouts for me. 3 points and a good start to the season. Up the palace! Couple of take-aways from the game.

We looked decent in possession.
Lerma looks a very good signing.
Sheffield are very ill-disciplined, expect a couple of reds throughout the season.
Foderingham kept them in the game, could've been 3-0 if not for some great saves.
Guehi seems to have picked up a knock, which forced our one and only sub. (wish we saw more use of our bench, especially defending a 1-0 lead with tired legs on the field)
Ayew and Lerma the standouts for me. 3 points and a good start to the season.

Up the palace!
