...is the price we need to put on every one of our players.

I see vultures in the air, waiting to pick our team off one by one. The idea that larger club can get their wallets out and buy us out of the PL sickens me far more than than how the team will perform in the next match.

The thought that Olisé, Guehi, Doucouré and Eze might move on,for amounts that precludes us from signing equivalents by the end of the window is absurd.

£100m for any first teamer. Take it or leave it.

They leave it, the players let their contracts run down and leave for free, terrible buisness plan

But who said they will?!

If Olise leaves for a smallish amount its only because he has a release clause.

I think it would be fair to assume that Parish and Dougie are reasonably competent. And trust them to do the best possible

There should maybe be a deadline day for teams in Europe at the begining of August so the rest of us can get our squads sorted . Then stages going down the tiers of football . Would seem a bit fairer to everyone . As you say they can buy us out of the league with the right timing .
And yes if Brighton can get £110m for a water carrier our guys should be somewhere around that

And we still need a striker

It's a question of control. The club needs to be able to decide when we are ready to sell a player. We can say "no" this window to any club wanting Eze, Doucoure, Andersen or Guehi. They will continue playing for us and if they play well clubs will still be after then in future windows and we decide when they go.

100% agree with you, to our knowledge none of the others have release clauses,
clubs have shown their hands over the past few weeks/
years with regards to fees paid…even back to united for £80m for maguire, which sets a yardstick, similar yardstick set for recent CMF transfer bids with regards to dacoure or eze.

i fully trust parish & freedman to have replacements set up, even if they dont arrive til jan.

any palace fan that expects more than survival needs to check their expectations, expecially given the way the rest of the mid-table teams are spending.

I cannot wait for this window to close. Watching our young talented team being picked off one by one is thoroughly disillusioning.

It looks like we will lose Olise and thats it as far as we know . The rest of it is paper talk . Our other players all have at least a couple of years on their contracts so we don't have to sell anyone and if we do the buyers know in this summer of mad prices its going to cost them , big bucks .

Which is okay when they're at the beginning of a 5 year contract but you'll know when a player won't sign, like eze and they're comming to the last 2 years of their contract then you have to look at selling or risk losing for nothing.

But we still don't have to sell in this window. Rice and Kane both had just ONE year left on their contracts and look what they went for!

What even Mateta? No wonder he's still hanging around!
