Being at the match is a totally different experience from watching on TV.

On TV Today's game is often a monumental bore. All the side and back passing, time wasting, diving and general cheating, has killed it for me. I'd rather watch cricket, athletics or even golf.

At the match the atmosphere takes you over.

Sensible rule changes are needed to revitalise the game. As it is, the misuse of VAR, the offside and handball rules simply spoil the game. The game's administrators are and have been a corrupt bunch of pluck wits, and have been for a long time.

Who knows where it goes from here.

Well done women's football, please don't copy the men.

Crikey, if you think TV golf is less boring than TV football, you've DEFINITELY fallen out with our national game.

I must admit to always having liked athletics, although only at the major championships if I'm honest. This dates back to being compelled by the 1968 Olympic Games televised 'Live by satellite' from Mexico City. At my advanced age, it's a good excuse to watch fit young ladies (often 'fit' in both senses of the word) displaying their charms while wearing not very much!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I used to love athletics I didn't watch a single minute of the last Olympics, the widespread drug cheating means you can never know who is clean or not.

I like the down to earth, hard grafting, humble, boy next door players. They do not let the money go to their heads.

How I learn things especially geographically and sometimes be a bit arrogant about it! for example knowing where somewhere is in England or the world, (and thru other sports).

Boring I know but well there goes it.

Anyone watch 'Pointless' and almost certainly only know an answer through being interested in football or sport? (not a sport question).
