Rarely shown film, 'tom thumb' late 50s or so.
Russ tamblyn as thumb.
However theres a classic villan pairing of T-T & peter Sellers in it.
Worth finding online if youve not seen it.

Good shout. Scarily I saw that at the cinema. I'm sure it must have been a re-run many years after its release though!

It was oft-repeated at Christmas back in the day.

I also used to love T-T in the 'Famous Names' liqueur chocolates advert that would get repeated every Christmas.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

James Mason

99% of the time he was in a supporting role, or a sidekick to the main protagonist. A brilliant Roman General in Masada.

some actors, act....ie they change persona to act the part. James Mason was always just James Mason.

Brilliant in Salems Lot. ''you will enjoy meeting Mr Barlow, and he'll enjoy you''

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Philip Seymour Hoffman. He was remarkable as Truman Capote.

Good call, he started off as a lead actor but when he went to Hollywood they realised that his looks and silky (menacing) English accent made him the perfect villain.
