Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk: Undisputed fight signed and to take place in Saudi Arabia [Link]

Decent fight!

I’ve boxed myself, in fact as recently as May (For charity, terrible idea, nearly killed me for cardiovascular reasons) but lost some interest in the sport over last few years. I took a bit of an interest in Richard Riakporhe recently and like Fury as well as a few others however the characters and stars of yesteryear seem more and more glamorous compared to those today as time goes by.

Looking forward to this one however, I think Fury edges it but Usyk no chump. Not a fan of it being in Saudi but not too bothered if I’m honest.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Saudi: where greed is king

Both fighters a bit past their peak. This happens when too long is spent swerving the top dogs. The best fight out there, and at least it's actually happening now.....fingers crossed.

i love the way the BBC can't handle the Conservative Christianity of Tyson Fury. Cos whenever he wins a fight, its difficult for them to cancel him.

it will certainly be a proper boxing match, of two great fighters. I wonder if the time-zone effect will reduce the convenience for UK viewers ? fight at 7pm in Saudi for the convenience of UK pubs.

Not sure about all the pubs in Saudi.

Fury will destroy him.

Usyk showed in his last fight again he can't handle big guys.

I'll believe it when I see Fury in the ring.

Can't see Aj v Wilder happening, ever. AJ is too gun-shy.

As far as I'm aware it's still scheduled for Saturday October 28th.

It's an exhibition so a Tyson loss wouldn't affect the belt situation.

I'm thinking more of an injury to Fury, which would then put the Usyk fight at risk. Bit of unnecessary risk-taking ?

But a big pay day.

This is a boxing match, so there will be no leg kicking or any dodgy stuff like in the infamous mixed style fight between Ali and Inoki.

It will happen. They will move it later in the year so that the Fury Usyk fight doesn't affect the box office takings.
