I agree with this. It’s not as if we just haven’t signed a left sided forward because we’re worried about blocking the progress of a brilliant left sided youngster.There isn’t one that I’m aware of. Conversely on the right we’ve got Olise and Ayew who usually occupy the position with youngsters Rak Saki and Ebiowei as options. We’re spoilt for choice on the right side while players have to be shoehorned into position on the left of attack whether it’s Eze, Schlupp (both midfielders)or occasionally Ayew. They’ll do a job but are not long term solutions. I know some prefer Ayew on the left, but for me it always narrows the team with his reluctance to go down the line or use his left foot. I agree with this.
It’s not as if we just haven’t signed a left sided forward because we’re worried about blocking the progress of a brilliant left sided youngster.There isn’t one that I’m aware of.
