I knew a guy who's long passed away who's name was William not unusual in itself but his surname was Williams.

I was on a cruise liner and engaged in conversation with a gentleman who introduced himself as 'Archibald'. He insisted that he does not take kindly to being called 'Archie'.

Tai Reece,Sherrelle etc I once saw an article about the kids of celebs with crazy names and how as soon as they were of age they had changed their monikers or asked to be known as something pretty boring. Frank Zappa's kid was known as Moon Unit 2 or something like that Zowie Bowie was another now known as David Jones. Why would you saddle your kid with a stupid name.
