Any recommendations? This winter My 12 year old boiler is probably on borrowed time and looking at changing as soon as we get into spring early summer, not paid much Attention to what's a good boiler on the market, I currently got a vailant eco tech pro 28. It's been a good boiler my mother had the same boiler it lasted 15.

I got a new Worcester Bosch boiler installed last year. Works a charm.

I'd second Worcester Bosch - had one in my last place in London and went for the same when we replaced our old one here - can't fault them.

For a reliable mid range go for a potterton titanium 28 HE.
Formerly a baxi 105 HE. A wall jig is supplied with the valves so all the pipework can be connected then hang the boiler connect the valves and fix the flue.
Downside it’s it’s a bit of a lump but good flow rate, quick heat up and easy to service.
Also not as complicated as your high end models.
Comes with a 24hr mechanical time clock and internal filling loop.
