If we can barely scrape a win against Sheffield Utd with Eze and Olise, how the heck can we expect NOT to be thrashed with THIS line-up against Brighton? I'm prediciting a 3-0 win to Brighton.

This looks very bad. Schlupp and Hughes in midfield , 5 in the back - 90 plus minutes of constant Brighton play in our halves.

If you where going to play that formation, which i wouldn't, you would play Schlupp at wing back, the only position he can play and Mateta and Edouard up top, for the hopeful crosses from the WBs, and Ayew in the number 10 role.

Yep agree Lanzo..!!

Personally I’d play Ahamada with Eze out - on that what is it with us and hamstring injuries…??

My heart sunk when I saw the starting XI - what on earth is Roy thinking - no creativity, no pace, no guile - it’s simply awful..!!

Get not starting Olise but you’ve got Ahamada, Ozoh and Franca all sitting on the bench - yet plays Schlupp - how - why..!!

Just when you think Roy can’t possibly dumbfound you further he manages to do it - that’s why he just got to go - absolutely clueless..!!

If we’d ever had the finances (!) to end up with Bellingham, Foden and Salah in midfield, Hodgson would still pick bloody Jeffrey Schlupp!

Excellent team, best available for sure. Zero pace, zero forward thinking, zero goals. Maybe the new rb will score a hat trick

It is Danny Butterfield's anniversary.
Roy wants to become the next member of the 'Hatrick Club'

3 more months people. Then he’s gone.

Keeper choice must be from on high that he has to play as Sam is much better.

On another note, does anybody else think that Eze and Olise may actually not get snapped up by one of the big boys as they are both so injury prone. It’s not good how often they are out.

Its 4-3-3 not 5 at the back
