Do that and we will be fine..!!

As I said over to you SP - you covet the “big chair” - now prove you own it..!!

I hope if Hodgson isn’t gone by Monday we get absolutely hammered. Will serve the board right for being cowards. Always knew it was going to come to this

Fans waving a flag will not ultimately force the issue. Do you really think the board will make a decision and be unwavering in their adherence to it to the detriment of the hundreds of millions invested? No, they will review and make an appropriate decision on how to protect that investment.
If Roy goes it's down to them.

I wonder how the club sees the situation as compared to us fans? They have said they want Roy for this season and to then replace him to progress forward with their plan, trust me they will have one no business operates without one. They need to remain in the Premiership as the first objective hence the safe hands of Roy. An average over the season of a point a game should do it. So far so good we are on schedule despite several injuries to our most influential players.
Step in the fans complaining about the style of football, complaining about the choice of players, complaining about the tactics, complaining about the manager, complaining about the medical staff, complaining about the Board, complaining about the transfer policy, complaining about not progressing the ground reconstruction and so on.
It has come to the point that us Fans are now forcing the issue picking Roy as the major reason for our situation and only a change can save us. However the Club whilst accepting we could have more points we are still on schedule for survival hence they do not feel the need to change.
If the fans force the situation and make the Club employ someone as manager through protests , which was not in their plans , and we start to fall short of the point a game survival plan then us Fans will have played a major part in the failure . Let the Club follow their plan and stand or fall by it interference could end up being worse.COYP

If the silence is because work is underway to replace Roy this week then fine, but if not then I see the lack of comment a bit cowardly. In times of crisis you need leaders at every level and right now it's hard to find any on the pitch, on the bench or in the boardroom.

This isn't particularly aimed at you, but...

... well, we're in 14th place, just about where we always are. Where is this crisis? It seems, just because you, and many, many others want to hear what the board are doing, you (all) have imagined a crisis. I imagine Roy Hodgson is being kept fully in the picture, and is being fully supported.

But don't let that deter you (all) from slating Steve Parish, Roy hodgson, Dougie Freedman, etc & etc...

You are correct they will make a judgement based on how they read the situation but they will also be mindful of the feelings of the supporters which will impact their decision . It will be difficult for them to ignore the fans protests as it will almost certainly have a bad impact on the players which will result in a total loss of confidence.
Difficult decision to make but if a change is made both Club and Fans will be culpable.COYP

You really are stupid. How come you don't support So'ton? Much easier to get to, and you won't need to hope they lose. There isn't a proper fan of any sport who would hope their team loses, let alone "get absolutely hammered". Moron.

I have this feeling that we have somone already to take over in the summer.

Any Job now will only be short term until then so that is why no one will take the job.

I Could be wrong tho.

I’ve thought the same for a long time which would explain why Roy was kept on for another year. So who is it that will become available for next season? Another former England manager maybe? I can’t see Gareth getting a top Premier League job so the likes of Palace are his best option.

With no real justification I also have a sneaky feeling that he is the manager the Club have been waiting for.

Are you honestly saying you don’t see any crisis in the club whatsoever? Why is that when literally thousands do?

We are in 14th more by luck than judgement and as much as I would like to say that from here we will collect on average a point a match, I just cannot see that happening.

How many games have we won in the league this season without Olise or Eze playing. To save you looking it up it’s none, so without being hysterical how are we expected to pick up any wins going forward. Eze is probably out for a month. According to some of the reports online it would be foolish for Olise to play at all again this season but may be back perhaps for the last few games.

Now we look to the players Roy picks week in week out, the sit back and defend tactics and the team devoid of forward players who can create chances. Then look at the number of goals we are currently conceding and it really doesn’t look good and yet you say, “what crisis”.

Looking at the fixtures and the fact we are playing worse week on week rather than better I would say (and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone), we will be lucky to get 10 points from the last 15 games. If that’s enough to keep us up then great but I’m not convinced it will be.

If you don’t think that is a crisis then I’m sure we’ll be fine and the thousands of us are just being unnecessarily concerned. We will be targeted big time as a chance for 3 points by the teams below us currently so there won’t be any easy games at all coming up.

Yep.

The rest of your post is, as you say, hysterical. Fear has caused you to be like this. Calm down and remember the previous seasons in this league since 2013. If we were in the bottom 3 now, I'd understand the worry. But we are where we always are at this point in the season. If we drop into the bottom three, I might start to worry too, until then, I'll behave like a grown-up.

Unlike the thousands of others you align with. There are also thousands of fans who think differently to you. There is no crisis unless you and your thousands make it a crisis. Banners and booing is not helpful, even if it is warranted (which it isn't).
