I would agree with Robbo though , its the sitting back that makes us tired . When the other side has the ball and you're chasing shadows it's more tiring than keeping possession yourself .

So on that note Im expecting more possession . His style to date would indicate the width will come from the full backs so Im also expecting the end of us playing wingers . Maybe not replacing Zaha was always the plan and Glasner has been lined up for some time

Our attacking options suddenly look half decent with a narrow front three and runners from the midfield .The players we have brought in the last years (Ahamada ,Lerma ,Franca and Watson ) certainly fit a Glasner style more than Roys .

I reckon this is a decent take to his approach on things and there were certainly signs against Everton. This is primarily why I was advocating giving Ayew a shot at LWB in another thread. I reckon it’s easier to convert him to an effective wing back than Mitchell and we would then have decent width with Munoz on the right.

In property development, it’s always a case of buy the worst house in the best street. Done right the profits/gains take care of themselves especially if the ingredients are there already. This pretty much works every time.
Same applies to us I think. s*** team in a great league under performing with injured stars. I think OG can see this.

Done right we should easily be the top team outside of the big boys.

We could be one of the top teams outside the big teams…….but not if we sell 3 stars in the summer as some seem to be advocating.
We’ve not managed to replace Zaha and Olise and Eze would also be difficult to replace.
It’s no coincidence that we’ve struggled to win games without them.
There isn’t a conveyor belt of equivalent talent waiting to replace them.

We’re not Brighton who manage to sell their players at way over the odds and then allow themselves a small smile as they fail to deliver for their new clubs not schooled in the Brighton system of play.

I honestly don’t see the club selling. Only if a player really kicks up a stink. I actually think that MG would be the most likely but only if one of the title challengers comes calling with a guarantee to start after he does well for England.

Eze, Olise, I think with there injury record and there age another club will want to see a consistent run of injury free games or it would be a reduced offer which I don’t see us taking.

Doucoure would have been a major candidate after the madness of last summers prices for central midfielders but as with Eze and Olise I think a view will be taken by the big boys here and abroad as he may not be the same player on his return.

Overall I think we are going to be in a great position start of next season so long as we stay up. Being as Luton just lost 4 -1 , looking better than a couple of weeks ago.
