Next season could well be without Guehi, Doucoure, Eze and Olise - so it’s good to see that we can play well without them.

Or, maybe, just maybe, under new management and with the prospect of good things to come, they could decide that they have a future here, where they are almost guaranteed to be on the team sheet rather than the bench.

A good win, although took a long time to get that first goal.
The gods were with us. From where I was sitting the sending off looked a little harsh and the penalty a little soft, and then after an age their goal rules offside.
Burnley are doomed now and they weren’t very good.
Happy with the points and will be happier when Eze is back.

Mateta was huge today. Totally bullied the Burnley defenders. Great hold up play.

Munoz is such a positive addition. Love his energy.

Richards still scares me defensively, but fair play to him for that nice goal.

Nice to see some Franca magic too.

Only negative really was Edouard. He's just very weak overall. Hard to believe he was starting every match over Mateta not that long ago.

Really surprised with how poor he was today. First game on a new manager, wouldn't have impressed Ollie.

Good to see us keep pushing after going 1-0 up.

Subs were correct IMO.

We are still very inefficient with the ball, e.g. struggle to generate chances or play direct passes even when in good positions. One for the coaches to work on that's for sure

Good to see Franca beaming from ear to ear walking off. 2 assists in an efficient little cameo. He should be very happy with that.

Such a nice change to watch attacking exciting football. For large parts of the game we had all 10 players in there half joining in the attack, especially Mitchell and Munoz.

I’d like to say that I told you so with regard to our teams management, but I’ll leave you to make your own mind up.

Glasner was asked in the press conference what he had changed from the previous management.
He said that he had asked the players to make ‘more runs in behind.’
It’s only one game, it was against a poor team and there are occasions when we may get caught on the counter.
Nonetheless, personally this is what I’ve wanted all season.
By all means be solid, but at least try and hurt the opponent and carry a threat to the opposition.
You may lose a few along the way (which we were doing anyway), but you may also win a few if you redress the balance and concentrate on the attacking aspect too rather than just shrug your shoulders and say we can’t attack as we’re without our two best players.

Correct and glad Ollie has already asked the team to play on the front foot.
Football fans are fickle but us Palace fans don't ask for much. Putting in a shift and trying to take our opponents on, that's what we want to see.
I'll be at Spurs next week and regardless of the result, let's give it a go. We will learn more about the game plan from that game.
P.S can we please beat Spurs- even now the Mrs family (all Spurs season ticket holders) have chalked this up as 3 pts. I'd do anything to see us take 3 pts next week.

Not to get carried away. A win’s a win, even against poor opposition. Feels nice to score some goals and show attacking ambition.

Credit to Richards in both this game and at Everton. I’ve slated him regularly in the past. Looked much more at home in his natural position, rather than looking a fish out of water when played out of position under R.H. Deserved his goal.

Some flashes from Franca. Looks promising but needs to get more game time. Maybe time to give Edouard a rest for a few games , as he has offered little.

Look forward to Eze’S return next game. COYP

Burnley are clearly very limited (even with eleven players) and look doomed. They defended stoutly (apart from the lunacy of the first goal) but once the first goal went in others were likely to follow.

I thought the sending off was 100% correct, it was the clearest of clear goal scoring opportunities and Lerma (I think) was wrestled back.

Great to see a training ground routine from a couple of corners, can’t remember the last time we tried something different.

Franca was a great impact sub (loved his driving run at tired defenders for the penalty). Whether he is a starter I’m not sure but definitely deserves more minutes.

JPM was very good again and deservedly got on the scoresheet.

Every other game from now on will be a tougher proposition but a very promising start.

when Franca broke to get the pen, did you see how many were swarming to support?

Good to see because that is the game these days: quick transition (as they say) with lots in support.

good to see.

I guessing he won't be in again unless Mateta is injured. He's totally clueless no runs nothing, he's just following the game not leading it

Jeff not even on the bench and can't see him in the injured lists. I doubt we'll see him again either

We’ve got 4 points from the last two games. Haven’t done that since we beat Man U and drew with Forest at the end of September. Nearly five months.
