Shows how s*** the Tories are when even a far-right lunatic like myself is on the Muslims side. The Conservative Party needs to be consigned to the history books. Utterly beyond redemption.

Very good.

Although really, that just takes the illiteracy to another level.

I did ponder this too, but I couldn't find a connection to eight circumferences with reference to Judaism. It's a vague number anyhow.

edit: I did find references to many circumcisions though...

At last.

Self-confessed "Far right lunatic" you may well be but, at last, someone has responded with some degree of seriousness.

Be careful, though; any criticism of the Israeli government will have you labelled, by many, as anti-semitic: that well worn tool to smear any opposition to Israeli state policy.

A danger, too, that many of your "far-right" allies will turn on you as a supporter of Islamic terror. To confess to being on "The Muslims' side", even on this one occasion, will be seen to be abandoning the wholesale denigration of Muslim people, a cornerstone of many of the right and certainly on these pages, Matov.

Thank you for your response. Good to see that you, at least, didn't see this as 25.13272: 'scraping the bottom of the barrel'.

One of the defining differences between the left and right is....amusingly enough tolerance.

Especially on opinions.

We often see people on the left, who might hold differing opinions from the consensus, keep their own counsel for fear of condemnation. This happens far less often on the right.

It's both a strength and a curse....the left are far more effective in reaching their aims and the right are like herding cats.

But on the positive it is actually a far boarder church because of it. I agree with that as I think tearing each other down because you disagree on point 3.4 or 5.2 as counter productive and self harming....Just accept that no one agrees on everything...Only the very core principles matter.

So Matov is fine by me as he fits that mode....He's against the social mire and disasters the left have been pushing the country and there's little disagreement.

When it comes to principles of a freedom to your own take...politically correct or not the right is just far better....not always but certainly when compared to the left.

For example, the right allows both opinions on the Ukraine war....There will be both strongly pro what we are doing on Ukraine and strongly anti....criticisms are kept to a minimum.

The leader of Reform for example, was for a lot of the covid response and is also pro the Ukraine policy. I and many others are against both. However, disagreement cannot let the people who hate you win.

The left in general are just far more mentally unstable and sensitive to value judgements.

Your last line is the main point; the indoctrination by the left means the recipient almost absorbs the propaganda into the fibre of their existence. Hence you opposing their views means you are attacking them personally. It’s like a cult where reasoning has been purged from their bodies.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

You hit the nail on the head.

You do get reasonable individuals on the left....but they are getting like hen's teeth.

If you’ve managed to convince yourself that people with different political opinions to your own must be mentally unstable and without reasoning ability, I’d suggest it’s time for some self reflection.

Problem is people equate Muslims as individuals with Islam as a whole.

So for example this Shamima Begum story. You would be surprised how many far/dissident right people think she should be allowed back in the country. My own reasoning is that since she was under the age of 18 when she left the country then she should be seen as a victim. A day over, and let her rot in hell but we have a law of majority, and as such it should be respected. Many of the girls who were victims of the grooming gangs were under the age of 18 and afforded their, quite rightly, victim status based on that fact.

What I cannot abide is the hypocrisy (although to be fair we are all guilty of it in one way or the other). So the Left literally ignored the plight of those kids in terms of the grooming gang because they did not want to offend their sensibilities/promotion hopes (never ignore that venality) around the risk of being labeled racist. Even aided and abetted those scumbags to do what they did. And many on the Right call for Begums head for the crime of being a kid who got conned. For me, two sides of the same coin.

Now I will openly admit that I do not believe Islam is compatible with the West. We are literally civilisational enemies with Islam seeking to conquer us, by force, on several occassions. And that is a battle we are in at the moment. But in terms of individual Muslims? No. Completely different. I have zero problems in being amicable and civil with Muslims of my acquaintance. Even have a few as good friends. The vast majority of Muslims in the UK are here because our Establishment, without asking us, allowed them in.

It is that Establishment that is my primary foe. Because until we defeat that, then nothing else can happen.

The issue is a lack of foresight and pragmatism.

The modern left seem driven by idealism and emotion. Some of these activist types even campaign for conflicting causes.

Totally irrational.

It is an addiction. Virtue Signaling. That tiny hit of dopamine every time that make a public statement about some issue. And like all addictions, it requires a bigger and bigger hit to get the same buzz as time moves forward.

Part of me actually pities then. Just junkies, when all is said and done.
