You might want to check the full 1st team squad. Ozoh, Devenny, Imray, Raymond, Mathurin, Umeh-Chibueze and Wells-Morrison are all there and all playing (or recently played) U21. All of them can fill, and some have filled, the bench; and some (or even all?) of them could play a key role next season.

None of them are CB, LB and only one striker. But that's still 7 players we don't have to buy, other than Rak Sakyi.

That's a pretty big gamble, seeing as the biggest issue this season was strength in depth.

Its less of a question of who, because we are paper thin, has made hte bench this season. But more who has the talent to impact a game.

I think maybe one or two will make it. Ozoh has already played a bit, so we can safely use him or loan him to a Championship side. Imray looks good and Wells-Morrison is highly rated. I also think Goodman and Whitworth are fine as Goalie back up. Interesting to see Reidewald come on the other day. Perhaps he's back in the picture. He wasn't great but he never seems too bad when he plays.

According to the BBC neither Eze or Olise have a "straightforward" release clause.

The thread title is about Man Utd signing Olise

It's speculated that one of the release clauses is that the team is in the Champions League

If so not Man Utd then!

Though to guess further it might mean Man U could still sign Olise, if he was keen, but would have to get Palace to agree to a higher fee than the release clause (if that's only for CL qualifying clubs)

On BBC website, says Palace have put £60 mill price tag on Olise and Eze, where has this come from, have the club said this, or just a journalist making it up,

If this is true, Jim Ratcliffe would probably bid £100m to secure Olise. Maybe more.

If Manure were willing to pay 82 million for that useless *ossser Anthony then 90 mill for either of our two wonder boys cant be too much surely. 60 mill seems short change compared with other purchases.

Given the recent Profit & sustainability focus / activity it makes you wonder which clubs have spare "accounting space on their ledger" to cater for major purchases in the price range of what we would want to let any of our big name players go.

I think the Man. U. turnover is huge with worldwide sales. That facilitates them pissing so much money up the wall on players.
I fear that if Olise goes there he might regress like many others. I hope he gets some good advice from those around him.
I'd take nobody from them p/ex sadly including Wan Bissaka.

IMO I cant imaging him wanting to go there (or Chelsea for that matter).

Club is mess, it's shown virtually no sign of progress in years. Despite money, managers and new owners.

Too true
And yet the headline and top story in the BBC Gossip page is exactly that:

Ratcliffe will try to drive a very hard bargain. He won't be splashing money without serious consideration so there will be lots of negotiations before anything happens re wages etc.
