What the hell is going on in Parliament these days.
The second bizarre and disgraceful occurrence in recent weeks.

One thing it tells me is that dating people from the internet should be completely banned for MPs.
I don't care about personal freedoms. When you sign up to be an MP, you should adhere to a set of rules to protect the integrity of government.
The two concerned absolutely do not have the qualities required to sit in the house.

Is this a problem with homosexual men in particular? There was a time when homosexuality was seen as an Achilles heel for those in authority, owning to the potential for blackmail. The stigma of being gay has now evaporated, but the behaviour of some gay politicians clearly seems to be an issue if these two are anything to go by.
That said, those who prefer the ladies haven't exactly covered themselves in glory either. It does make you wonder what else has been going on.

They may have covered the ladies in more than glory

This is a rum tale. One for an ITV drama in a couple of years.

What hope is there with these utter moral vacuums running the country?

Pretty much sums it up

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Indeed, if you were a country that could benefit by bringing down the government of the day or collapsing the economy by virtue of a no confidence in the Government vote I would have thought it easier to do now than ever before, catch a few key politicians in compromising circumstances, make sure the media know about it & the rest as they say will be history.

you never saw a video of Leo Varadkar cheating on his husband. Snogging the head of some random bloke in a busy nightclub dancefloor.

the next day, the Government number two ( michael Martin ) decried the loss of privacy and the invasion into the private life by prying cameras.

His problem seems to stem from him attracting people who preferred Menzies to Girlzies

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

There seems to be a lot of gay politicians, and they seem to carry their own issues in terms of behaviour.

What concerns me more, is that if these politicians are so easy to compromise, how do we know that they are not being corrupted by criminals. How do we know that their decision making is not skewed by Mr Big the local villain?
