Only at Palace could anything like this be reported! Whether there is any truth in this story remains to be seen, but there are direct quotes in the article by Jordan acknowledging this pupropted interest from Gadaffi. This proves that at the very least there is a shred of credibility in this story.

Very good? Whether or not he is a kunt or not aint really the issue. Is he guna take the club forward or just use us as a tool to improve his image?? I really think that if this is true it can only be a bad thing- look how many people have stated on this thread they r gona stop coming if he takes over, or that they would rather as be poor and relegated!

Probably one and the same, he could only improve his image, if you're correct and that's what he wants to do, if he took the club forward. And money is the real thing that'll take the club forward, of which he probably has bucketloads.

Malta where exactly would he take us? You think its hard signing players now? Try when we're owned by a world renowned terrorist! we will be boycotted and shunned by all respectable sections of the football world. His 'image' is of no concern to CPFC.

what tha fuk is happening to this club. i agree with sumone else taking over as SJ does not have the right amount of dollor. but not a fukkin terroist for fuks sake.
what next saddam hussain and osama bin laden, the new palace strike partnership.

fuk of gadaffi, rather see ron nodes, terry vennables or mark goldberg at the club than that w@nker.

ad as for his son, well hes just a tw@t.

also he's not all cnut. He's quite a charitable bloke, setting up and donating to many charities, lives humbly, often shagging and sleeping in his tent, and face it, he's never been associated with genocidal acts. I'm probably in the minority, but I say go for it, I'll forgive for whatever he's done, if he gets us into champions league

Sheesh. Hot on the heels of the highly charged debate currently raging on General Talk about moslem extremists, we now have the Daddy of all fundamentalist islamic terrorists linked with buying Palace.

I would have to seriously consider my position as a supporter if this should come to pass. The club would be dancing with the devil in no uncertain terms if this were to go ahead but I'm hoping that, as we are in the journalistic silly season, this proves to be the silliest story of them all.

REASONS WHY THIS CAN ONLY BE BAD
-We dont know how much money he even has.
-We dont know how much he'll give us?
-We will become as either as hated as manure and chelski or just a complete laughing stock.
-Does he know sh*t about running a club?
-Say he brings in big money players on big wages then gets bored and f***s off to return to scheming against the west in a cave then we are left up sh*t creek like leeds.
-He is a c*nt

If gadaffi was a terrorist then he would be wanted for war crimes. He had association, just as Gerry Adams did. If he was a proven terrorist then with no doubts he can fcuk himself, but this guy is trying to raise his profile legitamately and thats good enough for me. I really don't think the club would be boycotted as I think if there was any chance of that the deal would be sanctioned by the FA. Again the hi-ups at the FA would I guess have a final say.

Has anyone considered whether this takeover would actually be allowed to go through IF any offer was firstly, made and secondly, accepted? I'm dead sure that there would be a hell of a lot of objection...and not just from the Holmesdale stand...

Ok, so this guy has some serious amount of wonga, and let face it - Simon Jordan would be unlikely to turn down the ridiculously massive offer that Gaddaffi Duck would probably pay. Would you turn down £150 for a Mars bar you just paid 35p for? (Well, one with no special offers anyway - Wimbledon have moved on so a "buy one, get one free" offer is out of the question ).

As we all know, the media spout more bull**** than the UK's cattle population, so I don't think we currently have any reason to be alarmed. I'd be surprised if this bloke could tell any one of us who scored our play-off final winner, and I think the only reason that this story is doing the rounds is because SJ hinted at moving on back in June.

If he takes over, I think that we will see the crowd drop quite a bit - I for one would be at another Stadium from now on...living where I do, probably Southampton! (I know I live nearer to Seaweed country but there are somethings you just don't do).

Lets just remain optimistic, hope it's all media cattle faeces, and if ever it happens, I'd suggest that we all avoid leaving our cars where he might want to park his tank...

But with all that said, I can't help feeling a little worried about what it might do to the team in the early stages of our Premier League campaign

Try saying all that to the relatives of PanAm flight 103, the residents of Lockerbie and the family of Yvonne Fletcher.

The guy is indisputably a proven terrorist and has given aid and other support to other terrorist organisations, not least the IRA, over the years.

His 'rehabilitation' is because he knew that he was going to be next after Saddam if he didn't change his ways and, in my book, that makes him smarter than your average terrorist but a terrorist nonetheless.

well if the point is about image, and so it should be then he's no way good for the club, and I go along with everyone else on this thread, I was just looking at the injection of money, and the success it could bring
