But he is a good businessman and his team have grown to the point where they're now in the 1/4 finals of the europa league. At the very least, if he's interested then we should listen to what he has to say. Guilfoyle and P Daddy - unreal! I would still be apprehensive if this ridiculous story ended up being true, but I would be more than happy to give any owner the chance to prove that they are there for the benefit of the club. I'd love this to be true but the difference between the two is that Al-Fayed was chasing a British passport. He had a reason to take an interest over here. I know you are but what am I?

I cant think of anything worse than my club that i love not existing! - Bad results/relegation/bad cup runs - all things we can live with and moan about but to simply not be is not an option. I agree that if he did take over it is purely a PR exercise of some sort - he does not care for our club in any way. That being said - he is worth millions - and if he is the ONLY one that puts an offer on the table to save our club from going the chester fc way then i for one say welcome! It might go pear-shaped in 2 or three years time - but we may have no debt and at least be financially stable - in which case surley it was worth it! Nice to be in the press for some good reasons for a change though!
