Yeah, at the moment just the Barns Green 10k (I do the Half every year but this was new) and the Beachy Head Marathon which actually is so tough it's almost pointless trying to train. That and I want to try to bring my 5k PB down a bit more and recover from an ITB injury. I take it you're a runner as well? I am indeed. I like the longer races from marathon and beyond. I've got a 50 mile ultra booked in for September which I'll be undertrained for and I'm still deciding on whether to do my first 100 mile race next April. I have to run with my 17 month old todddler in her pushchair several nights a week which makes consistant training a bit of a challenge.

Nice, we have a few ultra runners at our club but to be honest I struggle so much just with a marathon I probably won't ever make it to the ultra realms. That said, technically one of the races I am pondering next year is 28 miles which is therefore SORT of an ultra!

Trying to survive with no Sky TV and no hot water for the entire summer as we have the loft conversion, kitchen, and bathroom done. Packed the family off to the in-laws but I have to work and try and oversee the building as well. They turned off the hot water yesterday on just day 3 of the project so I am now cold showers every day.

Why do they have to have the water off as when I had my kitchen demolished prior to being extended and rebuilt they only switched the water off in the kitchen leaving both the water and central heating working everywhere else
