Vote Trump and there's a slim possibility of change. Vote Clinton and there's no chance.

Slim > none.

They're very high risk stakes for a slim chance of change, particularly when you then factor in the relative probabilities of good change versus disastrous change.

But I don't disagree with you.

Either way, watching it all unfold over the past few months just confirms how comedically stupid Americans actually are.

The rest of the world was saying exactly the same thing about the Brits not more than a few months ago. (And I say that from a position of having at least one parent who voted to exit).

Whilst pretty hard to prove an alarming amount of Clinton's aides & colleagues drop dead.

She's one of the few politicians around that has a death list.

f*** her she's a warmongering, horrible spiteful c*** who thought possessing a v***** was enough to see her into the white house.

I concur. I found it bizarre that she was touted as some sort belweather for equality, when she is entrenched firmly in a dynastic political family. She is establishment, pure and simple and would have ushered in a fresh chapter of 'no change'.

The one reassuring part from all this thrilling election race today is that we will have a future president who is actually more Scottish than Kermit!!

Why do these bellends always bring their children into matters when they don't get their own way?

It's so pathetic isn't it??... Typical left wing self righteous, theatrical nonsense... And to think she gets paid for writing that s*** as well?... Unbelievable.

Anyway back to the real world... If I'm honest I couldn't really give to much of a f***... I don't really care to much for America and I'm no fan of Trump but what I will say is this...

At least the American people had a choice of who they wanted.... We got given a witch as our 'leader' and had no choice in the matter.

So Trump being elected?... The majority have spoken and chose him... It's called democracy... Build a f***ing bridge and get over it... If you don't like it then f*** off and live in North Korea and see how you like that.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I'm talking generally mate. Not because of how they voted. I probably would've voted for trump myself given the alternative.

Funnily enough the majority chose Clinton - she got more votes - so not democratic at all really. Fvcked up system. He's a tw@t and she's a bunny boiler. Been better if neither of them had got in.

Although the majority is close on the 'popular vote'. I don't really see why electoral colleges are in use when you have an option between two people. I get it for seats in the senate, house of representatives but I quite agree, it should be 'highest vote number from the population' makes president.

But then she wouldn't have changed the system, nor has any democrat, and the rules she choose to run on, however unfair, are the rules she choose to play by.

But I quite agree, it should be on the vote of the people to choose the president, not some arcane system who's practicality has passed its time.
